The banking and finance group at Field Seymour Parkes was formed in response to the growing demand from banks and other funders for a service tailored to the requirements of acting for an institution. Successful banking solutions require detailed knowledge of the lending and securities requirements of our institutional clients, as well as a thorough understanding of the business objectives of their customers. We endeavour to adopt a commercial and pragmatic approach to our legal work and we recognise the importance of achieving completion of the transaction on the timetable agreed between the bank and its customer.

Our team of banking lawyers have extensive experience of acting for banks and other financial institutions, and are on the panels of a number of clearing banks.

In addition the banking group acts for corporate clients in advising them on the implications of banking documents and negotiating the content of those documents with the solicitors instructed by the lender.
