Russell  May, Associate

 

Russell did his training at FSP qualifying in 2000. Russell deals with a broad range of contentious matters acting for companies and individuals. He specialises in property disputes and heads up the firm’s property dispute group. Russell deals with contested leasehold enfranchisement applications and acts in possession proceedings. Russell also acts for a number of charities advising generally on property disputes and providing advice on landlord and tenant matters.

Julia  Mactear, Associate

 

Julia qualified in 1996 and subsequently worked in the Reading area for 5 years. She joined FSP in June 2004. Julia has significant experience of resolving commercial disputes both in the High Court and County Court. She has acted for a whole range of clients from small to medium sized local businesses to high profile public companies. Julia has particular expertise in dealing with property litigation, professional negligence claims, construction disputes, employment disputes such as restrictive covenant issues and IT claims.

Simon  Roberts, Consultant

 

Simon trained at Slaughter and May and qualified in 1984 after which he worked in their commercial team. In 1988 Simon set up his own practice, TS Roberts & Co., specialising in residential and commercial property transactions. T S Roberts & Co merged with FSP in October 2001 and Simon now works as a Consultant in the residential and commercial property teams.

Tim  Child, Associate

 

Tim qualified in 1993 and joined FSP in 1999. Tim handles a mix of work including contractual disputes, inter-company disputes, warranty claims, pension cases and construction disputes. Tim has a particular expertise in relation to commercial landlord and tenant matters. He also handles regulatory and disciplinary investigations. Tim heads the team’s licensing unit.
