The social housing group specialises in advising both registered social landlords (RSLs) and the purchasers of shared ownership/home-buy and key-worker schemes.

REGISTERED SOCIAL LANDLORDS

The group has many years of experience in advising RSLs on all aspects of property and housing law from the acquisition of sites, their development in conjunction with contractors and house builders and the disposal of open market and shared-ownership units.  The group is also used to advising on the management of social housing including the dispute resolution in situations with late rent and repair/maintenance issues.

The group is made up of lawyers from FSP’s residential and commercial property teams as well as members of the construction and dispute resolution teams.

The group has been the among some of the first solicitors in the region to have become involved in all aspects of the various schemes that are available to certain types of purchaser and because of the work we do for RSLs they see both sides of the coin and understand how to progress such transactions efficiently and effectively.
