At Field Seymour Parkes we pride ourselves on the high number of trainees that we retain on qualification. Our Senior Partner, Robert Watsham, served his articles with Francis and Parkes, one of the three firms that merged to create Field Seymour Parkes. Robert Watsham was among the founding partners of Field Seymour Parkes in 1987. Two of our current partners were originally trainees within the firm and there are a further twelve Solicitors that trained here. Jeremy studied history at the University of Reading before completing the academic stages of legal training at the College of Law in Guildford. Jeremy trained with FSP and qualified in 1995. He became a partner in 2000. Jeremy has been a member of the company commercial team throughout his career and has a wide range of experience in all aspects of company and corporate matters. |

Marcus studied marine geography at Cardiff University where he was also a member of the Royal Navy Reserve. He then moved to the College of Law at Guildford to complete the academic stages of his legal training before joining Field Seymour Parkes. Marcus is a member of the commercial property team where he represents commercial investors and land owners in connection with the acquisition, management, letting and disposal of commercial and agricultural property. |

Claire studied Ancient Medieval and Modern History at the University of Durham and then completed the academic stages of legal training at the College of Law in Guildford. After a number of periods of work experience with the firm, Claire trained with FSP and qualified into the family and matrimonial team in September 2004. |

Joe originally studied English at Exeter University then converted to the law by obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Law at Kingston University. Joe completed the academic stages of his legal training at the College of Law, Guildford. Joe deals with a variety of work in the dispute resolution team including contractual, partnership, director/shareholder, and intellectual property disputes. Joe is also joint head of the FSP debt recovery service. |
