New “super depot” for Whistl
Marcus Francis, head of commercial property at FSP, has recently acted for Whistl UK Limited (the second largest postal operator in the UK) on their lease of a 225,000 square foot distribution warehouse in Bolton.
Whistl are to move their northern operations into a new “super depot” at Harworth Group’s flagship “Logistics North” development in Bolton. Whistl have taken a ten year lease at M&G Real Estate’s grade A Logistics 225 unit. Whistl will consolidate existing operations in Leeds and Warrington into one site which has 33 per cent greater capacity for future expansion of its existing mail, packet and parcel and e-commerce businesses.
Marcus Francis led the legal process for Whistl with Cathrine Ripley overseeing the construction elements of the transaction. M&G were represented by Hogan Lovells and Harworth were represented by Eversheds.
