The members of our Automotive group have many years legal experience in advising national and international automotive clients including motor vehicle manufacturers, finance companies, fleet hire companies, multi-site dealerships, components suppliers and F1 Teams.

The group comprises expert solicitors from our Corporate, Banking and Finance, Commercial Property, Employment, Regulatory and Dispute Resolution teams all of whom have specialist experience in advising on the legal issues relevant to the automotive industry.

  • Providing regular advice relating to various regulatory issues
  • Defending a number of claims brought against dealerships in respect of a variety of matters such as vehicles not being fit for purpose/ of satisfactory quality
  • Providing bespoke advice relating to the Commercial Agents Regulations
  • Defending a claim to trial relating to a claim for an alleged misrepresentation regarding fuel consumption data
