Underperforming employees who continually fail to improve are a common problem for employers who often feel unable to take action due to concern about possible tribunal claims.

Katie White, a solicitor in our employment team, will explain that it is possible to dismiss for poor performance and will give practical guidance on how to handle difficult employees.  Our team will share their expertise and answer common questions such as:

  • Is it possible to fairly dismiss for a single act of incompetence?
  • How do you deal with employees who lapse after improvement?
  • How long should a performance review process take?

A light breakfast will be provided and there will be opportunities to network and ask questions of the team.
