Jackie Denham is an associate in our employment group. She initially trained and qualified as an employment lawyer with a large international law firm in London. Jackie joined the firm in March 2017 after spending 8 years working in-house for a multi-national oil and gas company. Her areas of expertise include advising on complex disciplinary, grievance and whistleblowing investigations and sensitive absence management cases. Jackie has particular experience in supporting large-scale restructures and reorganisations including both voluntary and compulsory redundancy programmes and collective consultation with employee representatives.
Jackie is known as being a very approachable and comprehensible lawyer. Her in-house experience means that she has a distinctive practical and commercial approach to her advice and training, having worked extensively directly with senior managers and company directors and also having spent some time in a non-advisory role within HR carrying out employee relations work including sensitive investigations and advising employees directly on queries.
Outside of work Jackie enjoys spending as much time as possible with her children and travelling abroad.
What clients have said about Jackie:
"Many thanks to Jackie for all her advice, it has been invaluable and I am reassured that I have invested in excellent advice during this difficult process.”
“Jackie’s advice has been clear, robust and commercially sound. As a small business it is crucial for us to have a reliable legal counsel as we don’t have these resources in house.”
