About Jackie Denham
Jackie is a Senior Associate and joint head of the Employment team. Jackie has experience in the full range of employment law matters, including high value employment litigation in both the Tribunal and High Court. Her areas of expertise include advising on complex disciplinary, grievance and whistleblowing investigations and sensitive long term absence management cases. Jackie has particular experience in supporting large-scale restructures, reorganisations (whether solvent or insolvent) and office closures/relocations including both voluntary and compulsory redundancy programmes and collective consultation with employee representatives.
Jackie is known for being a very approachable and comprehensible lawyer. Having worked in-house for 8 years before returning to private practice in 2017, she has a distinctive, practical and commercial approach to her advice and training and has extensive experience of working directly with senior managers and company directors. She has a unique understanding of management concerns and the importance of employee communications having also spent some time in a non-advisory role within HR carrying out employee relations work including sensitive investigations and advising employees directly on queries. Jackie represents both employers and individuals and has an excellent reputation for successfully negotiating favourable settlement terms for her clients.
