Associate
Lewis is an Associate and Solicitor-advocate in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation team, having joined the firm in April 2020 following his qualification.
Lewis represents both claimants and defendants across a variety of sectors. Lewis’s practice covers the full range of commercial disputes, including product liability and consumer protection/consumer rights (particularly in the automotive industry), intellectual property, shareholder disputes and breach of warranty claims, defamation and privacy, data protection, professional negligence, construction, insolvency and bankruptcy, and general contract disputes.
In addition to litigating in the courts, Lewis has experience of all forms of alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration, mediation, early neutral evaluation, and expert determination/adjudication.
As a solicitor-advocate, Lewis has the additional qualification of higher rights of audience, meaning he is authorised to conduct advocacy in the Higher Courts of England and Wales. Lewis carries out his own advocacy in case management conferences, application hearings, and trials. Lewis’s advocacy experience allows him to identify the key issues right at the outset of a case, and guide clients all the way from initial instruction through to trial if necessary.
