Simon Roberts trained at Slaughter and May qualifying there as a corporate solicitor in 1984. He specialised in banking and finance, establishing the legal framework for a national system of shared automatic teller machines and dealing with corporate debenture issues and bond issues. In 1988 Simon set up his own general practice in Berkshire where he specialised in commercial and residential property law. In 2001, Simon's practice (T S Roberts & Co) merged with Field Seymour Parkes. Simon continues to work at FSP as a consultant and professional support lawyer.
Simon deals with all aspects of know-how at the firm and supervises content management for the firm's website. He is also a member of the firm's marketing team.
Simon runs internal training courses at FSP covering mainstream property issues and also more general skills training for trainees and solicitors at the firm.
