This free seminar will run on:

The dramatic increase in employment tribunal claims since the abolition of tribunal fees in 2017, has meant that businesses are increasingly facing the threat of litigation. Having a good understanding of the tribunal process can help prevent litigation and, where claims are unavoidable, allow you to obtain the best possible outcome.

In this seminar we will provide practical advice on the key areas of a typical tribunal process including:

  • Handling matters before a claim is submitted, including Acas Early Conciliation
  • Early applications that can assist your case
  • The disclosure process – the requirements and pitfalls for the unwary
  • Witnesses – who to select and how to prepare them for the hearing
  • Final hearings
  • Settlement negotiations – why, when and how

We will provide comprehensive notes, there will be opportunities to ask questions and network and a light breakfast is provided. We will be using interactive voting and will also be running our popular prize draw quiz.

This is an essential seminar for all employers, HR professionals and internal counsel.
