Sponsor obligations to the Home Office

There are over 48 thousand sponsors in the UK with a Skilled Worker licence, according to the latest public register. Many of these organisations hold multiple licences to include Intra company transfers or temporary workers. Are Sponsors aware of their many obligations to the Home Office while registered?

In this webinar, Head of Immigration, Imelda Reddington, will discuss in detail the obligations for those organisations who are registered as sponsors. These include reporting changes about the organisation, the personnel who are nominated on the licence and their sponsored workers. Where an organisation is involved in a merger/acquisition or sells off part of their business, the Home Office must be informed within very short reporting timescales. In the case of a change of ownership, new licence applications must be submitted within a very tight timeframe.

We will look at how sponsors can remain complaint and avoid sanctions from the Home Office, which could include suspension or revocation of the licence and losing the ability to sponsor migrants.

We will provide the latest update on COVID-19 concessions available to sponsors and look at the improvements promised to the IT platform in the next couple of years.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions and we will be using interactive voting during the session.

We will also be running our ever-popular prize draw quiz for the chance to win a £50 John Lewis voucher.
