Hazel Eccles in the Real Estate team recently exchanged contracts to sell approximately 6 acres of land in Burchetts Green, near Maidenhead to the award-winning housebuilder, Elivia Homes on behalf of Berkshire College of Agriculture (BCA). Bidwells advised BCA on the commercial terms of the transaction.
The land already benefitted from outline planning permission for 26 homes, 20 of which are private family homes, with the remainder earmarked at affordable housing.
BCA need to carry out restoration and renovation heritage works on campus in connect with its Grade I listed main building, and this potential sale will generate much needed income to enable this works to be carried out.
Elivia Homes next steps are to conclude its reserve matters applications.
