Trade Marks: Process and Pitfalls
Join us for this one hour webinar hosted by our Commercial & Technology team where we will look at the process of registering trade marks in the UK and some of the common pitfalls we navigate our clients through including:
- trying to register brand names which are too descriptive or which conflict with existing registrations;
- understanding trade mark classes and how to prepare a trade mark classification; and
- the trade mark application process and what to expect.
We will discuss a case study to highlight the above areas and to demonstrate the importance of brand protection. We will also touch on trade mark opposition proceedings and how coexistence agreements can be negotiated to help similar trade marks live alongside each other.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions and we will be using interactive voting during the session.
