From our offices in the centre of Reading in the Thames Valley, our specialist teams provide sound practical advice at a reasonable cost across a broad range of practice areas.
In an often over-complicated world, our philosophy is simple and captured by our core values. Alongside commitment and enthusiasm, the hallmark of our practice is the way in which we put the client at the centre of everything we do and bring clarity even to the most complex problems.
Service standards
The commitment we make to our clients is formally laid out in our service standard document (available below). Further evidence of our high standards of client care is our LEXCEL accreditation (the Law Society's practice management standard) which we achieved in 2000 and we have held continuously since then.
Our service standard document and terms and conditions are available for download in PDF format.
Complaints procedures
We sincerely hope that the service we give to clients will always match expectations. However, if a client wishes to complain we have a formal complaints procedure which we can make available to clients. If that procedure fails to produce a satisfactory outcome, then details of how to complain to the Legal Ombudsman will be made available to clients.
The Legal Ombudsman leaflet on what to do if you have a complaint is available for download in PDF format below.
Equality and diversity
The firm operates a policy to ensure that our services are offered to clients and prospective clients in a non-discriminatory fashion. In particular we will not discriminate against any client on grounds of sex, race (including nationality, ethnic origin and colour), disability, religion or belief, sexual orientation, age, pregnancy or maternity, marital or civil partnership status or gender reassignment. For disabled clients and other visitors to our offices, we are able to offer meeting rooms and toilet facilities on the ground floor (with wheelchair access) as well as lift facilities. Where reasonably possible, other adjustments are made depending on the needs of individual clients.
If you require any further information or assistance please contact our Equality and Diversity Officer, Rachel Tozer or our Practice Manager, Stuart Ironside. Our policy is available in PDF format below.
