Delivering successful banking solutions requires detailed knowledge of the lending and security requirements of the lenders, together with a thorough understanding of the business objectives of the borrower. Drawing on the expertise of our banking, corporate, real estate and construction lawyers in our day-to-day work, we deliver a seamless “one-team” service for our clients.
We are always mindful that obtaining finance can be a major hurdle for businesses. With our proactive attitude of identifying and addressing any potential issues as early as possible in the deal process, we seek to ensure that parties maintain sustainable working relationships throughout the transaction and beyond. We are quick to get under the skin of the business of our borrower clients to ensure our advice is tailored to its needs, whilst we are also well-versed in the policy and operational frameworks of our lender clients, enabling us to respect their processes and mitigate delays in completing transactions.
We are on a number of bank panels and regularly advise financial institutions, private investors and corporate borrowers on all legal aspects of lending facilities, real estate finance, property development funding, structured finance transactions for corporate acquisitions and other event-driven requirements. We also have significant experience in negotiating debt restructurings.
We have significant experience of preparing and reviewing wholesale finance documentation for clients in the motor industry.
The team is highly experienced in advising on a wide range of financing transactions from large, complex LMA documented facilities, deals involving multiple legal jurisdictions, private equity finance, finance for property developers to financing arrangements for corporate purchases or management buy-outs.
