Real Estate

With the largest Real Estate team in the Thames Valley we deliver City firm expertise and resource at a competitive price.

Overview

Property continues to be one of the most valuable asset classes in the world and despite occupier demand evolving the majority of businesses have a need for property in one form or another. Our lawyers provide decisive and pragmatic solutions allowing clients to react quickly to seize opportunities. With dedicated finance, property litigation, construction and tax specialists supporting the team, we are able to ensure that our clients are realising the most value possible from their assets.

Featured experience

The team has recently handled the sale of an industrial portfolio for circa £100m to a private purchaser, having previously acquired the individual assets. Other disposal work includes the sale of a residential development site in Berkshire with planning permission for 1,500 houses to Legal and General Homes and the sale of a business park in Hampshire.

Recent acquisitions include countless office, industrial and retail lettings through the Thames Valley, in London and beyond. Our largest single letting by value was £4m per annum for an 800,000 square foot logistics warehouse.

We handle the portfolio management work for a number of corporate occupiers including new lettings, renewals and the like. Portfolios range from 20 to 200 properties.

In conjunction with our banking and finance team we have worked on a range of financing transactions covering single asset securities through to charging over 100 properties for a single facility. Notable projects include the funding of a science park and a £100m+ revolving credit facility for a house-builder.

"They have always been brilliant. When we encounter problems, they've either been there before or know how to tackle it and recommend a solution."
"The Real Estate team at FSP knows how our business ticks. Our relationship transcends pure legal advice and we feel it is more of a marriage to a business advisory team."
