10th Annual Employment & Immigration Law Breakfast Briefing – January 2022

The essential guide to employment and immigration law changes.

Our employment and immigration teams are once again running their extremely popular free annual seminar – this year presented to you via a live webinar.

2021 raised numerous challenges for employers, including coping with the “workplace hokey cokey” as Covid guidance constantly changed, increased requests for home and flexible working and a whole new immigration system.

More changes are ahead as a number of legal developments are planned for 2022, including a new duty to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace, additional time off for carers, revisions to right to work checks and many new immigration routes into the UK.

This useful session will recap and update you on the changes that came about in the last year, as well as preparing you for the year ahead. This is an essential seminar for all employers, HR professionals and internal counsel, providing practical advice on how your organisation may need to respond to recent developments and how best to prepare for upcoming changes and challenges. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and we will be using interactive voting during the session. We will also be running our ever popular prize draw quiz.

In honour of this being our 10th anniversary of this event we will also be making a £2 donation for every attendee at the event to Launchpad Reading, a homelessness prevention charity who have opened a new work and life skills centre called Launchpad 135 – so people who are homeless or at risk of losing their home can learn new skills, build confidence and get back into work: https://launchpadreading.org.uk/our-work/work-and-life-skills-centre/

This is a very popular event so please do sign up and book it into your diary now to ensure you are ready for 2022.
