FSP advises on sale of development land to Taylor Wimpey (UK) Limited

Anna Zatouroff, a Senior Associate in the Real Estate Team, recently helped clients complete the sale of a property near Reading to Taylor Wimpey in the culmination of Taylor Wimpey’s option following the grant of planning permission.

We were delighted to support our clients over the last five years starting with negotiating the option agreement in 2015 and handling the subsequent variations of the option agreement as the planning application progressed. Once planning permission ( after an appeal to the Secretary of State) was granted for up to 55 dwellings with associated parking, landscaping and access and an area of Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace we helped negotiate the sale of our client’s property to Taylor Wimpey outside the terms of the original option agreement necessitating a variation of an existing overage agreement with a third party.
