FSP advises on the sale of international aircraft spare parts supplier to Pula Aviation Services Limited

For almost forty years Airpart Supply Limited (“Airpart”), based in High Wycombe, has been supporting the aviation community as an established aircraft parts and aviation spare parts supplier. Airpart’s network and ideal location provides distribution services for leading aircraft component and equipment manufacturers that support customers worldwide. Both Airpart founders David McHugh and Rob Allen will be staying on with the business, with the rest of the Airpart team, in a leadership capacity ensuring a seamless transition of company ownership. David and Rob will provide their experience in conjunction with Pula Aviation Services Limited (“PASL”) expertise and investment strength to support the future growth and development of Airpart.

Commenting on the sale David said “The combination of Airpart’s people and position in the market, backed by PASL and their resources makes a formidable team. It is clear both companies share the same culture, ethos, and approach to business. This new structure will allow Airpart to take full advantage of the opportunities ahead. We are excited to be able to accelerate several current projects, including an increased presence in the European mainland. We look forward to continuing successful growth, offering expanded scope for both customers and the manufacturers we proudly support and represent.”

On working with FSP on the sale of their shares in Airpart the Directors said, “The FSP team not only guided us through the commercial aspects of the sale, but were always there to support us when things became hard going. Their experience shone through with their advice, and on more than one occasion their calm approach got things back on track. During the process all at FSP were truly part of Team Airpart. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.”

The team at FSP was led by corporate partner Rachael Maunder with assistance from Sian Daly (solicitor, corporate), Edward Deutrom (paralegal, corporate), Christian Meredith (solicitor, employment), Anna Zatouroff (senior associate, real estate) and Lauren Beadsworth (trainee, real estate).
