FSP Cycles for Smart Works, Reading

Between 1 March and 8 March 2021, two teams at FSP were challenged to cycle a minimum of 1,000 miles to raise vital funds on behalf of Smart Works Reading who help unemployed women in need.

We have tallied up the miles and can confirm that they rode a total of 1,128.78 miles between them – the equivalent distance from our office at 1 London Street to Budapest!

We are delighted to have raised £1,300 for Smart Works Reading. Thank you to all those who have kindly donated.

Smart Works is a UK charity that dresses and coaches unemployed women for their job interview. The charity exists to give women the confidence they need to reach their full potential, secure employment and change the trajectory of their lives. In the last year, 65% secured a job within a month.
