Launchpad Pancake Race 2025

Launchpad Pancake Race 2025

Team FSP raises £515 for Launchpad Reading!

On Shrove Tuesday, the Reading community came together for the much-anticipated 27th Launchpad Pancake Race, an afternoon filled with fun and spirited competition.

Launchpad is a Reading-based homelessness charity that supports people who are at risk of homelessness or who are homeless in Reading. Their goal is to break the cycle of homelessness by providing temporary homes with bespoke support, as well as long-term homes in the town for people in housing need. Launchpad also rebuilds lives at their work and life skills centre, Launchpad 135, a place where vulnerable people can learn new skills, build confidence, and get back into work. The Pancake Race is just one of the many ways local businesses can get involved in supporting the charity’s cause.

Team FSP, consisting of Georgina Walker, Amelie Temple, and Rachel Reid, showed incredible team spirit and creativity in their fancy dress and they raised an impressive £515 for Launchpad Reading, bringing the Charity closer to their £10,000 target.  Thank you to all those who have kindly donated to our fundraising page.

Congratulations to the winners and to all the teams who participated! A special thank you goes out to Launchpad for organising yet another fantastic event.

Well done, Team FSP!
