Mock Employment Tribunal

Being involved in an employment tribunal can be daunting. Witness evidence is often fundamental to the outcome of a case and there can be serious consequences when thing go wrong. With record numbers of employment tribunal cases now proceeding to final hearings, the more preparation you and your team can have, the better.

FSP are delighted to have joined with the expert team at Devereux Chambers to deliver you a Mock Tribunal experience this April. Hosted by Partners Katie Burley and Ian Machray, members of our employment team will be taking on the role of witnesses in a lively fictional scenario. From Devereux they will be joined by Alice Mayhew KC acting as Employment Judge, plus Samuel Nicholls and Hitesh Dhorajiwala, who will bring their impressive experience to the session, putting the witnesses through their paces on the virtual stand.

This free 2 hour experience will provide attendees with invaluable experience of what witnesses can expect when giving evidence. An interactive and highly informative event, this will give attendees a fantastic opportunity to see how final hearings operate and how decisions are reached, with a chance to ask questions. This really will be essential viewing.

Who should attend?

This event is not only designed for employers and HR professionals, but would also greatly benefit those with line-management/decision making responsibilities as they are often called upon to be witnesses.  Anyone who deals with employment processes such as disciplinaries, grievances and redundancy procedures, or manages a team of any size would find value in familiarising themselves with the tribunal process. We are running this event online so that numbers are unlimited, meaning that team sign-ups are possible and very welcome.
