New interactive visa tool
Check if you are eligible for a Skilled Worker visa.
On the one-year anniversary of the Skilled Worker visa launch, the Home Office has released a new tool for potential employees to check if they are eligible for a Skilled Worker visa. It can be found here.
The tool gives the potential employee an indication if they may be eligible for the skilled visa route. The migrant will be asked a number of questions about their job, employer and salary. If the employer is a registered sponsor, the tool will confirm this.
Some other details will have to be known, such as the occupation code. After answering a few simple questions about the potential employer, the occupation, salary and English language requirement, the tool creates a brief overview of the answers along with the likely eligibility to use the Skilled Worker visa.
This tool will also benefit those who wish to search for sponsors by name from the sponsor register.
