About Emma Ferdinando
Emma joined FSP in September 2023 as an Associate in our Employment team.
Prior to joining FSP, Emma gained extensive experience advising both businesses and individuals with contentious and non-contentious matters. Emma has considerable experience of Employment Tribunal litigation, having represented businesses in the defence of whistleblowing and discrimination claims, as well as claims related to dismissals. In relation to individuals, Emma has represented clients in claims for unfair dismissal, equal pay and various forms of discrimination.
Emma’s day to day work typically includes advising on disciplinary and grievance processes, senior exits/settlement agreements and reorganisation exercises. In respect of document preparation, Emma frequently undertakes contract and handbook/policy reviews, as well as preparing bespoke policies that suit the commercial needs of her employer clients.
Emma has a reputation of providing clear and engaging training programmes to clients on various topics, most recently in the area of Dignity and Respect at work.
Emma is also a member of the ELA.
