Emma is a Solicitor in our Will Disputes and Contentious Probate team, having joined Field Seymour Parkes in June 2022. Emma has over 3 years’ experience dealing exclusively with Contentious Probate litigation prior to qualifying as a Solicitor in 2025 and a further year of litigation experience at a national law firm before joining FSP. Emma specialises in private client disputes.
Emma can advise clients on disputed lifetime gifts, challenges to the validity of wills, executor disputes including executor removal claims under Section 50 of the Administration of Justice Act 1985, disputes regarding estate administration, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 for both claimants and defendants, and trust disputes.
Emma also advises upon disputed Court of Protection issues including attorneyship and deputyship disputes
Emma also has extensive experience of resolving disputes by Alternative Dispute Resolution and Mediation.
