Jake is a Solicitor in our Employment team who advises both employers and individuals across a wide range of matters.

Jake helps clients with both contentious and non-contentious matters, such as advising on disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancy processes, performance management, and settlement agreements. He also provides support with employment tribunal claims and gives day-to-day advisory support to business clients managing workplace issues that arise.

Jake additionally works with our Corporate team to advise on the employment aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions. He also assists with drafting and reviewing essential employment documents, including contracts of employment, service agreements, staff handbooks, and workplace policies.

Jake is committed to supporting clients throughout the entire employment relationship—helping to manage risk, navigate legal obligations, and achieve strategic outcomes.

Prior to joining FSP, Jake gained experience working regionally and in the City, and has completed an LLB, LLM, and his SQE with the University of Birmingham/ University of Law. He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and manages the team’s monthly and quarterly Employment Law Bulletins – helping clients stay informed on the latest developments in employment law.
