Laura joined FSP in September 2024, having spent 13 years working in an agricultural property team at a national top 50 firm.

Laura specialises in agricultural and rural property work, acting for farmers, landowners, charities and landed estates.  Laura deals with sales and purchases of farms and land including conditional contracts and overage documentation, first registration applications for unregistered land and estates, granting easements, licences and farm business tenancies and advising on adverse possession claims and Agricultural Holdings Act tenancies.

Acting for landowners, Laura has experience in negotiating option and promotion agreements for the development of agricultural land, including renewable energy projects, along with any subsequent s.106 agreements or unilateral undertakings, and the sale of the property to the developer following the grant of a planning permission.

Laura also advises on commercial leases for converted farm buildings and sales or purchases of residential dwellings linked to farms or landed estates.
