About Olly Davidson
Olly is a Senior Associate in the Wills, Trusts and Estates team and has experience across the full range of wills, estates, trusts and tax planning matters. He joined the team in 2015 after training and qualifying at an international city law firm.
Olly specialises in advising on all aspects of estate administration, whether making a straightforward probate application or handling more complex estates with international, business or agricultural assets. He has a particular interest in estates involving non-UK resident or non-UK domiciled individuals, but can also assist with dealing with estates in the most tax effective manner, advising on tax planning for both Inheritance Tax (IHT) and Capital Gains Tax (CGT) purposes.
Olly similarly advises on IHT and CGT in the context of lifetime planning and Will drafting, especially to accommodate complicated family circumstances or business structures. This focus on tax planning extends to issues surrounding mental capacity, such as advising attorneys on making IHT efficient gifts or setting up lasting powers of attorney to enable better management of a person’s financial affairs.
Olly is a Full Accredited Member of Solicitors for the Elderly.
