Penelope is a Partner in the Corporate team and head of our Private Equity & Venture Capital practice. Penelope has particular experience in advising on private equity buy-outs and venture capital investments.
Penelope’s clients range from small early stage business raising their first round of investment up to large multi-nationals but her core client base is owner managed small to medium sized businesses and investment funds.
Clients often commend Penelope for her excellent project management skills, efficiency and responsiveness. Penelope’s friendly and adaptable approach ensures that she builds strong, longstanding relationships with her clients who appreciate her responsiveness and tailored advice aimed at achieving the right outcome for the clients.
Transactions Penelope has recently advised upon include:
- Multiple investments by the South West Investment funds
- Advising BGF on a number of investments including its buy out of Proventeq
- Advising Mundi Ventures and Opera Tech Ventures on their investment into Wrisk
- Advising the CPCA fund on its Investment into NoBacz
- Advising Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Investment Fund on the merger of its two investee companies, Inyanga and Hydrowing, under a new holding company and the subsequent further investment into the new holding company
