Sadiea has extensive experience advising clients across sectors including digital marketing, IT and technology, e-commerce, education, media, manufacturing and construction, and has also acted for accountants, insolvency practitioners and high-net-worth individuals. She is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation Team with more than 15 years’ experience advising on complex commercial disputes. She is known for delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice and for pursuing and defending claims in the High Court and County Court.

Her practice covers disputes involving breach of contract, negligence and defamation, including pursuing multi-jurisdictional claims, recovery and enforcement actions and obtaining emergency injunctions.

Sadiea also has significant experience in contentious restructuring and insolvency matters, including administrations, liquidations, voluntary arrangements, and bankruptcies. She has particular expertise in claims involving directors and in securing urgent validation orders.

Sadiea is an experienced County Court advocate, she also has a strong track record of resolving disputes through mediation.

  • Acting for former Subpostmasters seeking multi-million-pound compensation for them under the Post Office GLO Compensation Scheme, which was set up to compensate the victims of the Post Office Horizon IT Scandal.
  • Acting for a high net worth individual in relation to inadequate building works carried out.
  • Acting for an international tile manufacturer in a dispute against a company in financial distress (and contemplating insolvency options) in relation to goods delivered.
  • Recovery proceedings against debtors based in the Isle of Man, Germany, Greece, Italy, USA and the UAE.
  • Advising Liquidators in relation to a multi-million-pound misfeasance claim involving tax avoidance/employee benefit trusts.
  • Emergency applications for five consecutive validation orders to keep a company trading during covid.
