Sue is a partner in the Family & Matrimonial team, she has 25 years of experience in advising and representing those going through a dissolution of their relationship, divorce or separation, particularly in complex cases involving substantial assets including companies, share options and trusts. Sue has a particular expertise in advising Armed Forces personnel in respect of pension sharing and the Armed Forces Pensions Society regularly refer their members to her.
In addition, Sue is a recognised expert in complex cases involving children, often conducting her own advocacy in cases concerning where children shall live, whether they can be taken abroad on holiday or permanently, enforcement of orders and abduction. Sue is highly recommended and recognised as a leader in her field in Legal 500 and Chambers UK.
Sue is a collaboratively trained lawyer. She is also a qualified mediator and conducts regular mediation sessions for those going through a dissolution, divorce or separation who are hoping to agree the way forward as opposed to proceeding on a litigious basis.
