About Victoria Ounsworth

Victoria is a solicitor in our Employment and Immigration teams.

For employment, Victoria assists individuals and businesses across different sectors on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including settlement agreements, redundancy procedures, grievances, disciplinaries and restrictive covenant issues. Victoria also assists with drafting employment contracts, staff handbooks and consultancy agreements. Victoria particularly enjoys providing ad-hoc employment advice for day-to-day employment matters as well as providing assistance on corporate matters in respect of employment issues and due diligence that arise during business sales and acquisitions.

For immigration, Victoria assists a wide range of businesses with their UK visa requirements.  She prepares sponsorship licence applications on behalf of clients for submission to the Home Office together with visa applications for their overseas employees.  She advises clients on compliance with their sponsorship duties, with a particular focus on business organization changes, which could impact the client’s licence registration.  She also provides ad hoc advice in relation to right to work law.

Prior to joining FSP, Victoria completed her Legal Practice Course and Masters of Law at the University of Law in Birmingham before completing her training contract and qualifying as a solicitor in 2021. Victoria then gained experience in the Employment and Corporate department of a commercial firm in Buckinghamshire, specialising in a variety of employment, corporate and commercial matters. Her dual-role experience to date has helped her to develop an excellent commercial background and a practical, business-focused approach to assisting clients which is of great benefit to her role within the Business Services Team.
