The Home Office have launched a new online form for reporting errors on eVisas.
As we have covered in recent articles, the Home Office is currently in the midst of transitioning all Biometric Residence Permit holders to eVisas. As might be expected from such a comprehensive transition affecting hundreds of thousands of people across the UK, that process has not been without some technical hiccups. As a result, many of those who have switched to an eVisa have encountered problems or glitches, including their eVisa having incorrect details.
In response, the Home Office have now launched a new Report an error with your eVisa page, allowing individuals to report if any of their personal details or details relating to their immigration status are listed incorrectly on their eVisa. Further to submitting a report, individuals should be contacted by the Home Office within 10 working days, either to confirm that the error has been corrected or to request further information.
