The Great FSP Relay Challenge

At FSP we believe that our Corporate Social Responsibility programme should be a significant and central part of life at the firm. We are incredibly proud to be a long-standing Reading firm and strive to place ourselves at the heart of the community. We therefore try to ensure we are doing all we can to support local charities, by participating in local charitable initiatives, supporting our clients and contacts in their various charitable initiatives, and by encouraging our staff to take an active role in supporting charities within their locality.

We are delighted to announce that on Thursday 22nd September we will be holding a firm wide charity day, The Great FSP Relay Challenge.

This challenge will involve an accumulated 500,000 step challenge as each member of staff sets off on a 3km route along the Kennet & Avon Canal to and from our office. The aim is we will always have a member (or several members) of staff on the route throughout the working day, whether that be walking, or for the keen runners among us, running the route, either once, twice, or more all in aid of charity!! As a local mental health charity that uses sport and physical activity to improve the lives of people experiencing mental health problems it seemed appropriate, as we encourage our staff to take time away from their desks, to switch off and go outside and partake in exercise, either by walking or running the set 3km route, for us to fundraise for Sport in Mind.

We would like to raise as much money as possible for this charity so they can continue to improve the lives of people experiencing mental health problems through sport and physical activity.
