The video includes discussions on:
- Recent addition of roles to the shortage occupation list in the construction sector and the increases in the minimum salary rates for working visa routes.
- The new visa routes together with changes to existing routes to incorporate terms of trades deals with New Zealand, Australia and Canada and the changes to the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) for individuals with pre-settled status.
- The improvements in the SMS, providing cost savings to registered sponsors.
- The Right to Work (RTW) process, incorporating the most recent changes.
Finally, the team reviewed the introduction of the Electronic Travel Authorisation Scheme being piloted by a limited number of countries from October 2023 to February 2024. The scheme is expected to be fully implemented by 2025.
