In this series of short podcasts our Employment team discuss various topics designed to help employers get employment law right.

Join us for practical tips on how employers can reduce the risk of employment tribunal claims.  In the first in a series of podcasts designed to help employers navigate tricky employment law issues and get it right, FSP’s head of employment Ian Machray is joined by Louise Smyth, a senior associate within the team, to discuss key points employers should bear in mind throughout the lifetime of an employment relationship in order to avoid costly, time-consuming employment litigation.

In our second podcast Ian Machray head of employment discusses the key changes in Right to Work with our head of immigration Imelda Reddington. The changes have been fairly constant during the COVID-19 pandemic with adjusted measures in place for the lockdown periods in line with National Guidance. Additionally, since 1 July, new Right To Work checks are in place for EEA nationals, and employers can ask their employees to share their immigration status using the ‘View and Prove’ digital status or an eVisa.
