Right to work for EU nationals (includes EEA and Swiss nationals)

EU nationals must provide immigration status from 1 July 2021.

Registered Sponsors must retain prescribed information about their sponsored employees and their organisation processes.

Employers not currently approved by the Home Office to be a sponsor should consider doing so now if they think they will want to sponsor skilled migrants, including from the EU.

The UK has recently created a new immigration route for citizens that are British Nationals (Overseas) (‘BNOs’). We discuss this new route and what it means for BNOs.

From 1 July 2021, international students will be able to apply for visas under the Graduate route scheme.

Migrants who have a 90 day visa vignette to work, study or join family can apply and pay for a replacement if it’s expired.
