Field Seymour Parkes advises KRE Corporate Recovery on administration and subsequent sale of business of Mahabis slippers

FSP, headed by senior partner Ian Wood-Smith, have advised KRE on the administration and sale of the business and certain assets of Mahabis Limited (in administration).

Building on their longstanding relationship with KRE, FSP was delighted to be asked to advise them on the administration of Mahabis Limited. Mahabis is a luxury Scandinavian slipper producer and retailer with an outstanding global reputation, which had found themselves in recent financial difficulty. With thousands of positive customer reviews, KRE and FSP worked in tandem to ensure a swift sale of the business to 21K Footwear Limited, thus protecting the brands identity.

The FSP team was led by senior partner and head of insolvency Ian Wood-Smith supported by Jeremy Parkes, Cathrine Ripley (partner, commercial contracts) and David Clay (associate, employment).
