Field Seymour Parkes advises Whistl on their acquisition of the Spark Ecommerce Group

A team at FSP led by managing partner Jeremy Parkes has advised long standing client Whistl, the leading integrated delivery management and fulfilment solutions company, on its acquisition of the Spark Ecommerce Group, a privately held fulfilment and contact centre company based in Gateshead which had a turnover of £15 million in its last financial year.

Spark Ecommerce Group employees 200 staff and is recognised for its award winning inbound and outbound customer services.The company has worked with some of the UK’s most recognisable online brands and retailers, most recently including WW (formerly Weight Watchers), FitFlop, Micro Scooters, Shark Ninja and PGA European Tour.

After advising Whistl on its acquisition of Parcelhub and Mail Workshop earlier this year, FSP was delighted to be asked to assist Whistl on its second acquisition in the fulfilment arena for 2018.

Jeremy was assisted on the transaction by Rachael Maunder (partner, corporate), David Clay (associate, employment) and Charlotte Burroughs (solicitor, commercial and technology/IP).
