Exciting new development for Henley on Thames.
Vicky McDonald, Legal Director with support from Dean Bickford, Partner, in the Real Estate Team advised a consortium of landowners to secure outline planning consent for 71 residential units for a site on the Fairmile, Henley on Thames.
The long-anticipated scheme, which involved working with the parish, district and county councils will bring a mixture of open-market and affordable housing. FSP has been involved with the site for a number of years, working with the landowners on the collaboration agreement and, latterly the complex planning agreement.
The concept, which was first devised more than 20 years has brought together three landowners, who have worked together on the site for many years.
Simon Fruchter, director of Thames Developments Group, the lead partner in the consortium, commented “This has been a long term project, involving a lot of time, effort and patience, where the collaboration of all stakeholders has been key. We are very excited to see the development bring much needed housing to Henley.”
It is hoped that work will start on site in early 2027.
