FSP advises on sale of ONELAN Limited to US buyer

The corporate team at Field Seymour Parkes has advised on the sale of the entire issued share capital of ONELAN Limited to PE backed Uniguest.

The corporate team at Field Seymour Parkes, led by corporate partner Penelope Garden, have advised the shareholders of ONELAN, a global leader in developing and managing visual applications such as digital signage, wayfinding and meeting space bookings on its sale to Uniguest, a US private equity backed purchaser which specialises in delivering market-leading solutions to assist customers in driving guest, shopper and resident engagement in the hospitality, office retail and community living industries. ONELAN’s footprint spans across 6,000 projects in 50 countries and operates in the education, corporate, retail and hospitality sectors and one of its core product offerings is the meeting room product Reserva. ONELAN will for the time being continue to operate as a stand-alone business out of Reading.

“Uniguest is a natural partner for us as their Secured Advantage product goes hand-in-hand with our interactive signage solutions” ONELAN Chief Commercial Officer Hugh Coghill-Smith said. “Both companies strive to bring the most value to our customers. We determined the best way to provide a seamless customer experience was to bring the two portfolios together as one offering”. “Digital engagement is something we see as a crucial component to the future of the industries we operate in” Uniguest CEO Jeff Hiscox said. “After doing a thorough review of the market, we realised ONELAN’s solutions are best in class and our combined solutions will drive a new “digital infusion” in the public use space of our customers”.

Nick Randall, investor and non-executive director at ONELAN commented “the service from Penelope and the team at FSP was excellent and I would certainly use them again”. Helen Dodd, shareholder and finance director at ONELAN added “I wholeheartedly agree with Nick’s comments, the service was very professional throughout the sales process and it was a pleasure working with the team at FSP”.
