FSP Cycle Challenge raises over £8,000 for the Royal Berks Charity

We are thrilled to announce that on Wednesday 25th September we successfully completed our Cycle Challenge covering a distance of 350km in 8 hours, cycling the distance from Reading to Paris, all from the comfort of our office! This incredible effort was in aid of the Royal Berks Charity, and we are proud to share that we have raised an impressive £8,777 including gift aid.

The Royal Berks charity supports 6,000 staff members across 6 sites in Berkshire and South Oxfordshire, catering to a population of over 1 million. Because of events like ours the charity are able to support new projects and as an NHS charity they rely on donations to fund their work. This means what they do really is only possible thanks to the generosity and support of people from local communities. Every donation helps to support the incredible NHS staff at these hospitals and enhance the level of care they provide to thousands of patients and their families every year.

Ben Oliver, Partner, said, “Our Corporate Social Responsibility programme is central to who we are. As a long-standing Reading firm, we take pride in supporting local charities and engaging our staff in meaningful ways. We’re thrilled with the results of this challenge and grateful to everyone who contributed.”

Jo Warrior Charity Director at Royal Berks Charity said, “We are incredibly grateful to Field Seymour Parkes for their fantastic effort.  Having the support of people like the team at FSP makes such a huge difference to our work.”

A huge thank you to everyone who donated to our fundraising efforts. Your support has been invaluable, and we couldn’t have achieved this without you.
