FSP handles headquarters disposal for US biotech business

FSP has just completed the sale of Unither House in Chertsey for United Therapeutics who develop and produce treatments for patients with chronic and life-threatening conditions.

The property, which comprises a 22,570 square foot prestige office building, has been sold to Runnymede Borough Council for an undisclosed sum. Marcus Francis, partner and head of commercial property led the transaction. Strutt and Parker marketed the property and handled the commercial negotiations. FSP used its data site to provide potential purchasers with a comprehensive legal due diligence resource (including up to date searches) to review before bidding which resulted in a much swifter closing than would have been achieved if a traditional approach to the conveyancing had been taken.
