The Employment Rights Bill – What you need to know

The Employment Rights Bill – What you need to know

The much-anticipated Employment Rights Bill has finally been published by the Labour Government. While the text of the 150-page Bill may change as it makes its way through parliament, there is no doubt that it will give ‘employees’ and ‘workers’ significant extra protection in a number of important areas.

Please join us for this bitesize webinar where we will run through the main points you need to know, including:

• the removal of the qualifying period for unfair dismissal claims;
• new rights for ‘zero hours’ workers;
• restrictions on rejecting flexible working requests;
• ‘day 1’ sick pay and family friendly leave;
• additional duties to prevent workplace harassment; and
• a clamp down on ‘fire and rehire’.

This is an essential webinar for all employers, HR professionals and internal counsel to get ahead of the curve before the Bill becomes law.

This free webinar is live but will also be recorded, with a copy sent to registered attendees after the event.
