FSP advises Cloud Direct on strategic partnership with global IT company Crayon

The corporate team at Field Seymour Parkes led by corporate partner Penelope Garden has advised longstanding client On Direct , trading as Cloud Direct, on a strategic investment by Crayon, which employs more than 2,000 people in 35 different countries. The investment supports Cloud Direct’s ambitious growth plans. The strategic relationship brings broader licencing services to Cloud Direct’s customers and takes its specialist Microsoft cloud capabilities to Crayon’s customers.

Cloud Direct is a leading provider of professional and managed services for Microsoft cloud with offices in Bath, Reading, London and South Africa. This exciting new partnership will combine Cloud Direct’s well established cloud managed services with Crayon’s expertise in licensing and cost optimisation which will allow both partners to continue to grow and enhance the services they can provide to their customers.

Brett Raynes, CEO of Cloud Direct commented “To have two of Microsoft’s top partners joining forces is great news for customers looking to adopt or optimise their Microsoft Cloud environment. Our expertise in consultancy and managed services for M365 and Azure has seen us go from strength to strength. We are very proud to now have Crayon as part of our continued growth and to further enhance the offering that we can provide to our customers.”

Penelope Garden (partner, corporate) led the team with the assistance of Ross Brymer (solicitor, corporate) and Alex Illingworth (legal director, banking).
