FSP advises PIE’s founders on MML investment

FSP have advised the founders of Property Information Exchange on a recent private equity investment.

Field Seymour Parkes’ private equity specialists have advised David and Alix Brown, the founders of Property Information Exchange (“PIE”), on a private equity investment by MML Capital Partners. PIE is a leading provider of technology services to the conveyancing industry under its poweredbypie and Brighter Law brands, led by cutting edge technology.

The investment helped to facilitate PIE’s merger with PSG Connect (“PSG”), a market leading provider of residential searches to conveyancing solicitors upon which FSP also advised. The PIE and PSG merger creates technology services platform able to provide an unrivalled service to their clients based on the shared value of market leading customer service and operational delivery.

The team at FSP was led by corporate partner Penelope Garden with assistance from Jeremy Parkes (corporate partner), Rachael Maunder (corporate associate), Ian Machray (employment partner) and David Clay (employment solicitor).
