FSP advises SWIF on investment into JammJar

FSP has advised the South West Investment Fund acting by its manager The FSE Group on its investment in JammJar. The investment will support the development and commercial launch of JammJar’s AI-powered platform for mortgage advisers.

JammJar is a technology business seeking to modernise the UK’s mortgage advice market by automating administrative processes that can consume a significant proportion of advisers’ time. The company has developed an AI-native platform that integrates client communications, customer relationship management systems and mortgage sourcing tools into a single solution, enabling advisers to focus more on client advice and less on administrative tasks.

The investment will support the company’s next phase of growth as it expands its customer base following a successful beta programme. JammJar has already secured its first customers and is now bringing its platform to the wider mortgage advisory market, where demand for digital transformation continues to increase.

Paul Jones, Senior Investment Manager, British Business Bank commented: “Supporting ambitious and innovative businesses like JammJar is what the South West Investment Fund is designed to do.”

The FSP team was led by Penelope Garden, Partner and Head of Private Equity & Venture Capital Team, with assistance from Solicitor, Lauren Lashley and Graduate Apprentice Solicitor, Richard Adams.
