The Newly announced ‘Health and Care visa will be open on 4 August 2020
The new visa is for health professionals who have been trained to a recognised standard and have good working English. Applicants can apply from the UK or overseas.
Leaving the EU – Immigration and cross border implications
The UK left the European Union (EU) on 31 January 2020 and entered a transition period until 31 December 2020. The UK Government has ruled out extending that period.
Quarantine period of 14 days on arrival to UK
As with many other countries, the UK have enforced a quarantine period of 14 days for travellers arriving in the UK.
